A renowned fitness expert with over 19 years of hands-on experience, Chris is celebrated for his bespoke, science-based approach to training that delivers lasting results. Featured in GQ Magazine and The Sunday Times, he’s recognised for transforming clients’ lives through tailored fitness programmes, practical coaching, and expert guidance.
Chris’s training philosophy is simple: fitness should fit you. Every client receives a fully customised plan that blends progressive resistance training, mobility work, and nutrition support—helping people of all ages and abilities achieve sustainable goals, whether fat loss, muscle gain, athletic performance, or injury recovery.
As a Level 4 Strength & Conditioning Coach and Level 3 Personal Trainer (YMCA-FIT), Chris combines deep technical knowledge with a motivational coaching style that keeps clients engaged and consistent. His sessions focus on perfecting form, improving movement quality, and building long-term confidence—in and out of the gym.

Personal Training To Suit Your Needs
Before any training can take place Tailor Made Fitness needs to get an idea of your level of fitness and this is done through a short consultation which usually lasts half an hour. During this time we’ll be discussing any medical conditions Tailor Made Fitness should be aware of, eating and drinking habits, reasons for wanting to train and barriers that could prevent you from reaching your goals. In order to keep track of improvements during the initial consultation, measurements will be taken of specific parts of the body and we will also calculate your body fat. These measurements will be taken on a monthly basis.
Once the consultation is completed and we have identified your goals we will set exercises to help you achieve these goals and advise you on nutrition to further enhance your fitness. Your initial consultation may identify one or more of these goals:

To ensure that you get the most out of your training programme Tailor Made Fitness also customises its delivery to suit your preferences. As a result, you can choose from one of these three environmental conditions.
NB: Please note that if you choose options 2 or 3 Tailor Made Fitness will provide the necessary equipment.
Gym/Personal training Studio - Tailor Made Fitness has links to various gyms and a personal training studio where the training sessions take place.
Outdoors - Tailor Made Fitness can train you outdoors, whether in the park or in your back garden.
Home - Tailor Made Fitness also makes home visits if this is what you prefer, thus avoiding any unnecessary trip to the gym.
Online Pt - Tailor Made Fitness offers online personal training , this is either a 4 or 8 or 12 week online programme with weekly check in to see how you are progressing . A program is sent to you after initial consultation with videos showing how to do the exercises correctly.
